Does electric fireplace need to be on a dedicated circuit breaker?
Yes, you need to make sure that the outlet you plug your electric fireplace into is on a dedicated circuit breaker. If your Electric Fireplace is a built-in model that needs to be hardwired, a new circuit breaker and wiring is required. -
Does the glass front of an electric fireplace get hot?
No, the glass front always remains cool to the touch and is perfectly safe for children and pets. The heating element is separate from the flame effect area. The heating elements are set behind safety screens and do not get hot enough to burn -
